In these uncertain times, we can imagine that you are reluctant and wary of traveling again. That is why we would like to let you know that we do everything we can to make your stay in a WestCord Hotel as safe and pleasant as possible. We strictly follow the guidelines of the Dutch government and RIVM (the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment). We also follow protocol that has been drawn up for the catering industry by our trade association: Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN). We have translated all this into a special WestCord “WeCare” program, of which you can read a number of measures below.

Restaurants and bars will be closed until further notice. This applies to both hotel guests and guests who are not staying at the hotel. Some WestCord hotels do offer take away and / or delivery. Keep an eye on the website and our social media for more information. We follow the measures taken by the government and RIVM.

This differs per hotel. In some of our hotels breakfast is served buffet style. In other hotels breakfast is served at the table and in certain cases we bring a breakfast box to the room.

Facilities such as Wellcome Wellness, swimming pools and bowling will be closed until further notice. This applies to both hotel guests and guests who are not staying at the hotel. This differs per hotel, due to the strict and intensive cleaning protocol that we use. On this page you will find soms links to an information page per hotel. It shows different times for check-in and check-out.

At check-in we ask you the following questions: 

  • Have you (or your travel companions) had the following complaints in the past 24 hours: cough, cold, fever or shortness of breath?
  • Do you (or your travel companions) live with someone who currently has the above complaints?
  • Have you (or your travel companions) been diagnosed with the corona virus in the past 7 days?
  • Have you (or your travel companions) been in direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with the corona virus?

In these uncertain times, we can imagine that you hesitate to book a stay. All reservations made after the 1st of July, 2020 can be rebooked free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Our colleagues are ready to change the reservation to a new date.

If you are unable to rebook your stay, your reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Booked non-refundable rates are excluded.

This scheme only applies to hotels in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leeuwarden and Delft. The uniform Horeca conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry apply to all reservations in the other hotels.

Our measures in brief

We Care by WestCord

  • We only receive guests who can sign a health statement in accordance with RIVM(the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) guidelines upon check-in.
  • We use separation screens at the reception.
  • Disinfectants are available.
  • All our staff members wear protecting face masks. We advise our guest to wear a face mask in the public areas.
  • In the public areas, a distance of 1.5 meters from each other has been taken into account.
  • Restaurants and bars will be closed until further notice. This applies to both hotel guests and guests who are not staying at the hotel. Some WestCord hotels do offer take away and / or delivery. Keep an eye on the website and our social media for more information. We follow the measures taken by the government and RIVM.
  • In some of our hotels breakfast is served buffet style. In other hotels breakfast is served at the table and in certain cases we bring a breakfast box to the room.
  • Our employees in the operation and housekeeping remain at an appropriate distance as much as possible.
  • Al our employees are instructed and expected to comply with the health guidelines of the RIVM.
  • We have a strict and intensive cleaning protocol and are extra attentive to personal hygiene.
