A multifunctional room with an authentic atmosfere on the ss Rotterdam.
The Theatre is a special room on the ss Rotterdam, which accommodates up to 432 people (including the balcony). In the past, this was the place where performances and concerts were given, now the Theatre is a multifunctional room where every set-up is possible. On the balcony the original seat arrangement is preserved.
The Theatre is equipped with a stage of approximately 8 x 5.5 meters with a theater curtain. In addition, the room is equipped with modern sound, light and AV equipment. Through our AV partner you can request a quote based on your wishes.
The ss Rotterdam offers several possibilities to expand your meeting. For example, take a drink at the Ocean Wine Bar or Captain’s Lounge or dine in our restaurant. There are also full conference packages available, please ask for the possibilities.
Art & History
At that time, the Theater performed shows, showed films, gave performances and concerts or ran fashion shows. Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington and other greats shone on the shelves here. The entrance of the Theater is decorated with the artwork “Life” by Dick Elffers and the balcony of the Theater has retained the original seating arrangement.
