Fast check-out: if you prefer a fast check-out in the morning, please already pay your bill the evening before your departure. We can always send your invoice via email.
You will find our breakfast room in the lobby. We kindly invite you for our extensive breakfast buffet as a healthy start of the day! On weekdays from 07:00 – 10:30 AM and in the weekend from 07:30 – 11:00 AM. Costs are € 19.- per person, unless you pre-book your breakfast through our reception desk; in this case we offer you a € 2.50 discount and you pay only € 16.50 per person!
The hotel has a secured luggage room where you can store your luggage. However the storage is secured and your luggage always will be handled with care, we would like to point out that storing your luggage is always at own risk of the guest.
Our reception desk is available 24/7. Please dial number 9 on the telephone in your hotel room.
At the reception we sell adapters for €15.
If you wish to rent a car during your stay please contact the reception desk.
A baby bed in your room can be arranged through reception at €10 per night.
We do have bathrobes available which you can borrow. Please contact the reception for any informaton.

It is strictly prohibited to use and/or deal in soft and hard drugs in as well the hotel rooms as the public areas of the hotel. In case we notice one of the above mentioned cases we will request you to leave the hotel immediately and any possible cancellation fee will be charged.
Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
Your room is cleaned every day and dirty towels will be replaced daily*. f If you wish to receive extra towels during your stay, please contact the reception desk.
* We have a “Green Key” certificate, therefore we think about the enivoriment. Bathtowels will be changed daily once you leave them on the Floor. Once you leave your towels on the towelrack we will not replace them. WestCord contributes to the enivorment by making our guest aware of the wateruse and use of Chemicals which are used due to washing the towels and or Bed linnen. Free WiFi is available in the entire hotel. We have also a computer in our lobby which you can use at no charge.
If you have any complaints, please contact the reception desk. To solve your matter as soon as possible we kindly ask you to inform reception directly about you complaint.
In every hotel room you will find a safe. We advise you to use this to keep your valuables.

In your hotel room you will find coffee and tea facilities. If your favourite taste is not available in the assortment please contact the reception desk.
Do Not Disturb
For your privacy you can put the “Please do not disturb” sign on the outside of your door. If this sign is still on your door at 12:30 PM, clean towels will be hung outside your room and we presume that your room does not need to be cleaned.
In case you would like to use the public transport you are able to buy “GVB-tickets” at our Front Desk for 24 hours, 48 hours or 72 hours. “GVB-Tickets” are only for Trams, Metro’s and Busses. Train tickets need to be purchased in the train stations. Public Transport goes very frequent. Tram Lines 1, 2, 5, 13 and 17 stop just in front of the hotel. It is possible to park your car in parking garage Q-Park ‘Nieuwendijk’, opposite the hotel. The regular fee is €55 for 24 hours, however the hotel can offer you a discounted price of €44. for 24 hours. Discounted tickets are available at reception. It is also possible to charge your electric car in the Q-park Nieuwendijk. It is also possible to park on the street at a local (higher) fee. Please note that the city of Amsterdam has a very strict parking policy.

For any suggestions or to make your reservation please contact our reception desk. You will also find a 24/7 food market in the hotel lobby.
In the Netherlands it is legally prohibited to smoke anywhere in the hotel. In case of smoking in your hotel room or anywhere else in the building you will be charged a € 150,- fee for extra cleaning costs.
Please be aware that the hotel cannot be held responsible for any personal injuries, damage and missing or forgotten possessions. Personal and valuable belongings should be kept in the safe in your hotel room.
It is possible to iron on the first floor next to the elevator. Our hotel also have lose Irons and Iron Board available based upon availability.
In your hotel room you will find a telephone. There is a start fee per call of €0.70. Then there will be a certain charge per second which depends of the country you are calling. Please note that your telephone bill may be very high in case you call abroad or on a cell phone number. If you want to phone another hotel room you just dial the room number.
In the numerous theatres and music halls in Amsterdam you will find lots of interesting performances. Please contact the reception for more information or to make reservations.
In case of any forgotten toiletries like a razor or toothbrush please contact the reception desk.
If you wish to order a taxi please contact the reception desk. Please be informed that there might be a waiting time during busy hours. If you need to travel to Schiphol, we advise you to reserve your taxi in advance through reception. The costs for a regular taxi to Schiphol are €45,- and a van for €55,-.
If there is a technical problem in your room, please report this to the reception directly we can solve the problem for you as soon as possible.

Wake up call
You can ask for a wake up call at the reception or you can programme it on your telephone. Push the wake-up button and enter the 4 digits for the time followed by #.
We offer you the possibility to use the laundry service. You will find the pricelist and laundry bag in the closet in your room. If you hand in your laundry at reception before 08:30 am you will receive your laundry back on the same day after 06:00 pm (except for weekends and holidays).
For your safety we have the following regulations and house rules valid in WestCord City Centre Hotel Amsterdam. You are obligated to follow these rules. Violation of any house rule may lead to immediate removal and a report will be made at the police station.
In every room you will find an emergency plan. Do not panic in case of fire! Report the fire at the reception by dialing ‘9’ on the telephone in your room. Try, if possible, to extinguish the fire yourself with help of the fire hose. You will find one in every hotel corridor. In case of fire never use the elevator!
At several places in our hotel you will find cameras. These guard your security. Every visitor of the hotel agrees to be recorded by our security cameras. In case of calamities these recordings will be shown to third parties as supporting material.
It is forbidden to take hotel property outside the building. You will be held responsible for repairs and/or renewal costs in case of damage to our property. Deposits or your credit card details may be used afterwards in case of not reporting damage yourself.
In case of any danger there is a possibility theat the hotel needs to be evacuated. Please follow the instructions of the personnel at all times.
In case of fire you must use the emergency exits. These are permanently illuminated and marked clearly. On every floor you will find emergency exits, escape plans and emergency stairwells.
