Meetings with a spectacular view on Rotterdam!
The Sky Room is located on the highest deck of the ss Rotterdam. This spacious room is very light because of the large windows and is suitable for theater, u-shape, school, meeting and reception set-up. In theater set-up, up to 70 persons can be accommodated. The Sky Room is multifunctional and can be used for any kind of gatherings such as meetings or a private dining room. In addition, this room has 2 spacious terraces, where in reception set-up up to 70 persons can be accommodated.
The room can be recognized by Willem Akkermans’ great artwork. He made a painting with a bright blue background on which the sun is being transported on an Egyptian papyrus boat. The painting is a beautiful symbolic representation of the atmosphere on the ship that illuminates the sea like a sun.
