Ameland

Ameland is a unique wedding location overseas. The four picturesque villages Hollum, Nes, Buren and Ballum all have their own charm, atmosphere and culture. And the nature of the island is enchantingly beautiful!

One of the most beautiful wedding locations on the island is the “Oerdhut”, which is located in centuries-old dune area and is surrounded by high dunes and romantic dune valleys. It is an unforgettable experience to give each other the yes in this atmospheric cabin with fantastic views over the island and the sound of the sea in the background. But more is possible on Ameland. For example, you can opt for the Sorgdrager cultural history museum, or for the Koaikers Huus, which is located on one of the most beautiful places on the island. You can also promise each other faithfully in a charming historic church and, very special, in the characteristic red and white striped lighthouse.
