Art Hotel Amsterdam

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the restaurant. Breakfast times are:

  • Monday till Friday: 7:00 am – 10:30 am
  • Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 am – 11:00 am

Have you not booked breakfast yet? You can add breakfast at any time for EUR 22 per person via our reception.
(children up to 12 years old are EUR 11).

If you have dietary requirements or allergens, please inform our restaurant colleagues. They will show you what the possibilities are.
Always inform the host or hostess in The Art Brasserie about dietary requirements or allergies to certain products.

Check-out
You can use the room until 12:00. Would you like to enjoy the hotel a little longer? A late check-out is possible starting from EUR 15 per hour. Please ask the reception for the possibilities. Did you know you can also leave your luggage at the reception free of charge?!

Roomservice
Roomservice is possible between 12:00 am and 10:00 pm. Please contact the reception by dialing ‘9’ on your room phone. A roomservice charge of €5,- will be charged for every order.

Telephone
There is a telephone in the room. For information about the cost of using the phone, please contact the reception. Please note that these costs are automatically credited to the room account. First enter 0 for an outside line. For international calls, first a 0 and then the country code must be entered. The reception is available 24 hours a day on number 9 on the telephone in the room.

Outdoor pool
Hotel guests can make free use of the Brediusbadduring the summermonths. The room key allows guests access to the pool.

Additional information

Adaptor
If you need an adaptor plug you can borrow or buy one at the reception. A deposit of €15 per adapter will be charged.

Airconditioning
Your room has air conditioning. You can set the desired temperature and air flow by yourself.
The hotel also has an automatic ventilation system.

Postcards
In the lobby you will find our Art Boutique. Here you will find various drinks and snacks, but also fun souvenirs such as postcards, refillable water bottles, our WestCord tableware in collaboration with Royal Delft and our Art Shopper!

Baby bed
An extra bed or baby bed is possible for €30,- per night. Please contact the reception for availability.

Luggage
The hotel has a storage space where you can store your luggage.

Messages
Messages that we receive will be delivered to you as soon as possible; given to you in person or brought to your room.

Flowers
There is a possibility to order flowers, they will be delivered at the hotel. For more information you can contact reception.

Security cameras
At several places in our hotel you will find cameras. These guard your security. Every visitor of the hotel agrees to be recorded by our security cameras. In case of calamities these recordings will be shown to third parties as supporting material.

Doctor/Dentist
If you need medical assistance, please contact the reception by dialing number ‘9’ on the extension in your room.

Extra bed or babybed

An extra bed or baby bed is possible in some cases. Please contact the reception for availability and costs.

Extra pillows and blankets
Extra pillows and blankets can be found in the closet in your room. For more extra blankets you can contact the reception.

Bicycle rental
There is no better way to discover Amsterdam than by bike! For bicycle rental you can visit the reception. Costs are €15,- per calendar day.

Lost & found
Please contact the reception if you found any object or if you lost any personal belongings.

Pet
Pets are allowed, for a fee of €25,- per pet per night with a maximum of €75,- per pet per stay.

Housekeeping
Your room is cleaned every day and on request clean towels will be given to you each day. If you would like extra towels, please contact the reception.
No cleaning needed? Hang the green stay card on the door and help us contribute to sustainability.

Internet
Free WiFi is available throughout the entire hotel. No password required.

Room key
Your room key is a keycard. This key is to be kept with you and to be handed in at check out. For security reasons a room number will not be shown on your keycard. Please keep in mind that the keycard is sensative to magnetic fields. Keeping your card too close to a magnetic source cause data loss.

Complaints
If you have any complaints, please do not hesitate to contact the reception. Please mention your complaint as soon as possible so we can take action accordingly.

Safe
A safe is available in every room. Use of the safe is possible by choosing your own pin code.

Coffee and tea facilities
Every hotelroom offers coffee and tea facilities. Please contact the reception if the variety is not to your liking.

Art
Art characterizes our hotel. You will find a large range of art in our hotel. Different artists expose their work in our hotel. If you are interested in one of the art works you can contact the reception for more information.

Minibar
All minibars in the rooms are empty and can be used for your own supplies. Various minibar items are available for purchase 24/7 at the reception.

Do not disturb
If you wish not to be disturbed during your stay, please hang the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign outside your door. However, if this sign is still on the door knob after 3.00 P.M. your room will not be cleaned anymore that day.

Public transport
There are buses from and to Central Station:

Bus line 22 (Muiderpoort station to Spaarndammerbuurt)

Bus line 22 pass every ten minutes, the ride to Central Station lasts approximately 10 minutes. The busses go till 12:00 pm. After 12:00 pm the night bus (bus number N81) will go once every hour from Central Station to the hotel. Departure times are to be found at the bus stops.
If you wish to use public transport you can buy different kind of tickets at the reception.

Parking policy Amsterdam
There is a strict parking policy in Amsterdam and parking is only available against a fee.

Parking is possible in the parking garage under the hotel, based on availability, for € 35 per night.

Reception
The reception is situated near the entrance of the hotel. The reception is open 24 hours. You can contact the reception by dialing ‘9’ on the phone in your room.

Restaurant
The Art Brasserie is always open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, we can make any reservations for restaurants in the city.

Smoking policy
WestCord Art Hotel Amsterdam is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is therefore not permitted anywhere inside the building. This also applies to e-cigarettes/vapes.
Smoking is allowed on the heated outdoor terrace until 23:00.
If smoking is detected inside the hotel, or if smoke detectors are covered or tampered with, a cleaning fine of €250,- will be charged.

Damage
We would like to inform you that the hotel is not responsible for any personal injuries, damage, and missing or forgotten possessions. A safe is available in your room, if you would like to leave your personal possessions we advise you to use the safe in your room.

Fitness
Our hotel has its own fitness room available for guests. The fitness is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. For more information, please contact the reception.

Iron and ironing board
An ironing board and bolt are provided in the wardrobe of the room.

Supermarket

Technical issues
When there is a technical issue, please contact the reception. Our technical department will try to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Terrace
The terrace is situated at the backside of the hotel. The spacious terrace has a view on the open-air swimming pool and you can enjoy your breakfast or lunch on the terrace. The terrace is only open during summer months or in case of sunny and warm weather.

Several toilet amenities are available at the reception.

First aid kit
A first aid kit is available at the reception. Our reception personnel is trained in giving first aid.

Drugs
It is forbidden to posses, to use or to deal illegal drugs inside the hotel room, public areas, brasserie and restaurant. If it is discovered that you do, you will be removed from our hotel, immediately.

Laundry service
Guests can use our laundry service. The price list and a laundry bag are located in the closet in the room.
If you hand in your laundry at the reception before 09:00, it will be ready the same day before 19:00.
This service is available from Monday to Friday.

Safety instructions
For everyone’s safety and order, the house rules that apply at WestCord Art Hotel Amsterdam are listed below. You are required to comply with these rules. Violation of any house rule may result in immediate denial of access and notification of the police.

Fire safety
A floor plan is displayed on the door in every room. Do not panic in case of fire. Immediately notify the reception by dialing ‘9’ on the telephone in the room. If possible, try to extinguish the fire using the fire hose located in the hotel corridor. Never use the elevators during a fire.

Cameras
Cameras are placed in several locations throughout the hotel. These cameras are installed for safety purposes. Every visitor to the hotel agrees to being recorded. In case of incidents, these recordings may be shown to third parties as supporting material.

Property
It is prohibited to remove hotel property from the building. In case of damage to our property, you are liable for the repair and/or replacement costs. Your deposit or credit card details may be used afterwards if this is not reported.

Evacuation
In case of emergency, it may be necessary to evacuate the hotel. During an evacuation, always follow the instructions of the staff.

Emergency exits
Use the emergency exits in case of fire. These are permanently illuminated and clearly indicated. Emergency exits, evacuation plans and emergency staircases are located on every floor.
