Breakfast is served in the restaurant. Breakfast times are:

- Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 am – 11:00 am

Roomservice is possible between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. Please contact the reception by dialing ‘9’ on your room phone.
There is a telephone in the room. For information about the cost of using the phone, please contact the reception. Please note that these costs are automatically credited to the room account. First enter 0 for an outside line. For international calls, first a 0 and then the country code must be entered. The reception is available 24 hours a day on number 9 on the telephone in the room.
Hotel guests can make free use of the Brediusbad from 1st of May to 4th of September from 10:00 AM – 05:00 PM. The room key allows guests access to the pool.
If you need an adaptor plug you can borrow or buy one at the reception.
Your room has air conditioning. You can set the desired temperature and air flow by yourself.
The hotel also has an automatic ventilation system.
The front desk can arrange a babysitter for you. A surcharge applies for this. We are dependent on the availability of the babysitter.
In the lobby you can find postcards of Amsterdam which you can purchase at the reception.
If you wish to rent a car during your stay, you can book this at the reception.
The hotel has a storage space where you can store your luggage.
Messages that we receive will be delivered to you as soon as possible; given to you in person or brought to your room.
At departure we have several ways of settling your bill: by credit card (Visa, American Express, Euro-/Master Card), PIN card or cash.
There is a possibility to order flowers, they will be delivered at the hotel. For more information you can contact reception.
At several places in our hotel you will find cameras. These guard your security. Every visitor of the hotel agrees to be recorded by our security cameras. In case of calamities these recordings will be shown to third parties as supporting material.

When you are on a special diet or if you are allergic to certain ingredients, please report this at the reception so that we can notify the kitchen about your special wishes or diet.

Please be aware of the fact that the electricity in the Netherlands is 220 Volts. At the reception you can borrow or buy an adapter.
Extra bed or babybed
If you would like to use an extra bed or baby cot, please contact reception. Both are available at an additional cost.
Extra pillows and blankets
Extra pillows and blankets can be found in the closet in your room. For more extra blankets you can contact the reception.
There is no better way to discover Amsterdam than by bicycle. Please contact the reception if you wish to rent a bicycle.
Lost & found
Please contact the reception if you found any object or if you lost any personal belongings.
Pets are not allowed.
Your room is cleaned every day and on request clean towels will be given to you each day. If you would like extra towels, please contact the reception.
Your room key is a keycard. This key is to be kept with you and to be handed in at check out. For security reasons a room number will not be shown on your keycard. Please keep in mind that the keycard is sensative to magnetic fields. Keeping your card too close to a magnetic source cause data loss.
If you have any complaints, please do not hesitate to contact the reception or fill out the complaint form in your room. Please mention your complaint as soon as possible so we can take action accordingly.
A safe is available in every room. Use of the safe is possible by choosing your own pin code.
Coffee and tea facilities
Every hotelroom offers coffee and tea facilities. Please contact the reception if the variety is not to your liking.
Art characterizes our hotel. You will find a large range of art in our hotel. Different artists expose their work in our hotel. If you are interested in one of the art works you can contact the reception for more information.
All minibars in the rooms are empty and can be used for your own supplies. Various minibar items are available for purchase 24/7 at the reception.
Do not disturb
If you wish not to be disturbed during your stay, please hang the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign outside your door. However, if this sign is still on the door knob after 3.00 P.M. your room will not be cleaned anymore that day.
There are buses from and to Central Station:
- Bus line 22 (Muiderpoort station to Spaarndammerbuurt)
Bus line 22 pass every ten minutes, the ride to Central Station lasts approximately 10 minutes. The busses go till 12:00 pm. After 12:00 pm the night bus (bus number N81) will go once every hour from Central Station to the hotel. Departure times are to be found at the bus stops.
If you wish to use public transport you can buy different kind of tickets at the reception.

The Art Brasserie is always open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, we can make any reservations for restaurants in the city.
The Art Hotel Amsterdam is a non-smoking hotel, smoking is therefore not allowed anywhere in the building. Smoking is allowed on the heated outdoor terrace until 23:00. If smoking is detected in the hotel, a cleaning fine of € 150 will be charged.
We would like to inform you that the hotel is not responsible for any personal injuries, damage, and missing or forgotten possessions. A safe is available in your room, if you would like to leave your personal possessions we advise you to use the safe in your room.

There is a cigarette machine, where you can get cigarettes for a fee. A valid ID is required for the age check for the cigarette machine.

When there is a technical issue, please contact the reception. Our technical department will try to solve the problem as soon as possible.
The terrace is situated at the backside of the hotel. The spacious terrace has a view on the open-air swimming pool and you can enjoy your breakfast or lunch on the terrace. The terrace is only open during summer months or in case of sunny and warm weather.

First aid kit
A first aid kit is available at the reception. Our reception personnel is trained in giving first aid.
It is forbidden to posses, to use or to deal illegal drugs inside the hotel room, public areas, brasserie and restaurant. If it is discovered that you do, you will be removed from our hotel, immediately.
Wake up call
You can ask for a wake up call at the reception or you can use the wake-up programme on the television in your room.
Our hotel offers laundry service. You will find the price list and a laundry bag in the closet in your room. If you hand in your laundry before 09:00 am. You will receive your laundry back on the same day after 7:00 pm. This service is available from Monday till Saturday. On Saturday you can hand in your laundry at the reception before 8:30 am. The costs will be 50% extra.
